So, where are we going this year Besties? We all work hard and have busy lives, but we also need to treat ourselves from time to time. An experience is the ultimate way to do just that. Travel is possible and so rewarding! So let’s stop with the doubts and excuses and open our minds to the possibilities.
“I always tell people don’t pick the destination, pick the deal. There are so many lessons that can be taught once you jump outside of your comfort zone and just go." -

In 2017, I created a vision board with all sorts of life, financial and travel aspirations. That vision board landed me south of the border in beautiful Los Cabos and far east to Boracay Island, Manila & Beijing. Each experience was amazing and I recommend you visit at least one if not all these places! This year, that same vision board is taking me to the middle east!
“Everything you want is on the other side of fear. So… Book that flight. Create the business. Apologize. Skydive. Request a raise. Tell him/her you’re in love. Whatever it is, JUST DO IT!” –

I’m simply ticking places off that list. Up next… Dubai, Egypt and Morocco for an exotic excursion!
First stop is Dubai to see the Burj Khalifa. More than just the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa is a symbolic beacon of progress, and an emblem of the new, dynamic and prosperous Middle East. From there, I plan to skip over to Abu Dhabi for prayer and reflection at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
“I’ve realized the best trips can happen on a budget. Ways to make travel more affordable, like searching for flight deals, cooking your own meals, staying in cheap rentals, and exploring during the off season. Money doesn’t have to hold you back from seeing the world.” -

Although there has been conflict in this country, the opportunity to visit has presented itself. So by God’s grace, I’m going to Egypt. The Great Sphinx of Giza is on my list of sites to marvel. It is the most instantly recognizable statue associated with ancient Egypt and among the most famous in the world. The sculpture, of a recumbent lion with the head of an Egyptian king, was carved out of limestone on the Giza plateau probably in the reign of the king Khafre (2558-2532 BCE).
“Make travel a priority. 1. Create a travel fund. 2. You don’t need friends to travel; solo trips are life changing. 3. Overcome the fear and stop making excuses for not taking that flight. Just do it!”-
Lesley Parris // @likelesley
And I’ll wrap it all up in Morocco. When in Morocco, you have to visit Casablanca! The port city and commercial hub in western Morocco, which hugs up against the Atlantic Ocean. The city's French colonial legacy is seen in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco.
“My tip for encouraging people to travel is to write it down and tell someone. There is power in writing down or sharing a travel destination as a goal. The moment you do either, the universe conspires to make it happen.”

It is almost never the perfect time to do anything! So, take the trip, start that family, step out on your own, etc… we just have to create the opportunities and be optimistic about the outcome! So Besties, tell me where you are going this year?
Enjoy the Journey,
