I know.... You aren't ready to talk about the Fall yet because you are enjoying the last days of Summer. But face it, there are only 10 days of Summer left before it is actually considered Fall. 10 days. Two full work weeks. Almost time for your next paycheck. Turn up! With Summer giving us a swift kick in the arse soon, you might as well embrace the Fall. Let me help you get a little pumped! These are the three things I am looking forward to this Fall!
The first thing that has me ready for the new season is the opportunity to give my wardrobe a Fall face-lift. There are some key pieces I plan to ensure are in my closet as I give my looks that good ol' fashion nip and tuck. Three words: booties, sunnies, and moto jackets. Booties are a Fall staple for me and an easy transition into the Winter. Some people may start to put up the sunglasses once Fall creeps in but I like to keep them out. Plus I can stare & judge folks while looking stylishly unassuming. I know I'm not the only one! And the moto jacket gives off the right amount of "Idgaf but I do" vibe. It can be dressed up, down, and somewhere in between. Next week, I will show you a few different ways to rock it! Here is a link to an uber cute and affordable moto jacket from Nordstrom.
Second, the Fall color palette is ALWAYS here for the kill! I love the rich, deep tones. My favs are wine, plum, charcoal, black and army green. You can mix and match them in a variety of ways! If you have a favorite summer color that has been your go-to this season find its Fall counterpart; chances are she will be bae too! The below top can be purchased here and can be worn just about anywhere! The jumpsuit can be found here but opt for better shoes. In my opinion, the ones on the model do not enhance the look. They actually get on my gawtdam nerves!
Lastly, but probably my most loved! The natural brow. *QUICK PRAISE BREAK* Lordt, I'm in tears right now as I write this. I'm just so happy bro! My blood pressure, cholesterol, or edges can't take anymore of these 3D eyebrows. I attribute this bit of awareness to Violet. I was allowing my brows to grow out because I was stupid enough to step out on my brow lady. She was crowded and I didn't have time to wait so I cheated with someone else. The thing is though, when I cheated I was reckless. I went to someone that I didn't have any intel on and she DISRESPECTED the fukk outta my brows. She made them all types of too thin. So while at work, I felt the need to explain my brow situation as I felt folks steal quick glances at my brows. Someone said, "My daughter said natural brows are the thing." Sure enough, everywhere I looked - magazines, web articles, T.V., natural brows were making a come back! So y'all can chill on drawing them in so heavily.
